Faculty and Staff Information

Payroll

• HR and Payroll are now able to access the PeopleSoft system; therefore, we will make every effort to process the September 30 payroll instead of paying employees the same as you were paid on September 15. Paying employees the same as September 15 will only occur if PeopleSoft becomes inaccessible for HR and Payroll to enter data in PeopleSoft. The decision was made to pay employees the same as the September 15 payroll because PeopleSoft was inaccessible at the time.

• Although staff will try to complete the update for faculty increases, due to the disruption in power and closure of 3100 Main, faculty may not receive their increase until October 15.

• Overtime that individuals incurred during the emergency period must be validated and submitted by their supervisor but will not be paid before October 15.

• Any employee who has a payroll challenge should email it to his or her supervisor.

• The fall term will be extended through December 18. Adjunct faculty will be paid for their full contract and are expected to teach through the extended term.

• Any adjunct faculty whose paper work has not been processed in payroll by September 23 will receive an off-cycle paycheck within a week of notifying his or her supervisor.

• All part-time hourly employees will be paid only for hours actually worked. If you have any concerns or questions related to your paycheck, please contact your supervisor or the HR generalist at your college.
